  1. All Non-Food Vendors must submit this application and pay the $50 participation fee by November  1, 2021.

  2. After November  1, 2021 the vendor fee is $100, no exceptions.

WHAT ARE YOU SELLING?

VENDORS MUST AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS: 

  1. Vendors may only sell in the space designated by festival organizers and may only sell items listed in vendor information sheet, thus a part of this agreement. Any changes to the items for sale must be approved by the festival organizers. 

  2. Non-food vendors may not sell food or beverage.

  3. Vendors may not play music at their booth.

  4. Vendors consent to being photographed by the CC Hot Tamale Street Fest and the Corpus Christi Hook for publicity/promotion purposes.

  5. Vendors may not sell merchandise that contain the words or images of  “CC Hot Tamale Street Fest”, “Corpus Christi Hooks”, “Whataburger Field”, “Houston Astros” or similar branding.

  6. Neither CC Hot Tamale Street Fest or Whataburger Field will provide vendors with tables, chairs, tents, or electricity.

  7. Vendors must keep their area on all Whataburger Field facilities (including field, parking lots, loading areas, services areas, etc)  presentable during the festival and clean up their area completely before leaving at the end of the festival. All vendor waste items, cardboard boxes, decorations and other sales-related debris must be disposed of off the Whataburger Field site.  

  8. Vending tents must be safely secured and stationary during event hours.

  9. Vendors are responsible for compliance with all relevant city and state codes and licenses. 

  10. This year, the CC Hot Tamale Fest will be held around the baseball diamond at Whataburger Field. Food and Non-food vendors alike will spread out in designated spaces in the “foul” dirt area between home plate and the dugouts. 

  11. Booth space will be assigned at vendor check-in and will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. Maps with assigned spaces will be provided. 

  12. There is only one entrance and one exit. You must be on time and you must stay until the end of the festival. 

  13. No Vendor will be accepted after 10:45am. Booth space will be assigned at vendor check-in and will be first-come-first-serve. Maps with assigned spaces will be provided.  No particular space is guaranteed. 

  14. Vendors may arrive as early as 7AM to set up. No vehicles will be allowed to remain in the loading area after 10:45am. 

  15. No vendor vehicles will be allowed on the field.

  16. Vendor load-in area is near third base. It  is separate from the vendor parking area. Both will be designated on the map. Vendors are encouraged to bring carts to assist in loading and unloading.

  17. Vendors will have a designated parking lot and will be provided with (1) parking pass for the dashboard of their vehicle. These must be displayed on vehicle dashboards at all times or will be subject to towing.  No extra passes will be given.

  18. CC Hot Tamale Fest and Whataburger Field/Corpus Christi Hooks/Houston Astros assumes no responsibility for any financial loss, theft or injury. 

  19. Vendors shall fully indemnify and hold harmless Whataburger Field/Corpus Christi Hooks/Houston Astros, C.C. Hot Tamale Street Fest, Enrich Local Inc,  and its Organizers from any actions, suit, claims, payment, costs or damages which may be brought against them arising from participation before, during or after the festival.

  20. Vendors will be given “VENDOR” badges that allow them access to the field entrances and through specific security points. Any vendor caught sharing this security badge with anyone else will forfeit their deposit and all ticket sales generated during the event. Safety and Security is very important and will not be taken lightly.

  21. No vendor is allowed to leave the venue during the festival (ie: between 12pm-8pm).

This document is a contract between the vendor and C.C. Hot Tamale Street Fest. Upon acceptance, this document will serve as a contract between C.C. Hot Tamale Street Fest and the vendor. All vendors must abide by this contract. Failure to comply with the terms listed above will result in cancellation of your participation in the festival and forfeiture of your vendor fee.
